How It All Began...

So you know how it is when you're dropping your child off at a party and there's an 'Open for Inspection' property round the corner?  Well, you just have to go and have a look don't you?!  Well that is how our renovation story started.  Jacob was going to a friends party and this property round the corner looked like it'd have a great view so we went to be nosy...

"Oh honey what have we done?" was what Adam and I continued to say to one another as we walked around the property.  We just knew we were completely in love with the 'potential' of this place.  It has great views and hasn't been touched since circa 1973.  Here are the photos from the agents details.

Now just so you know, we had absolutely no plans to move house whatsoever.  Adam's parents had only just left from their 6 week trip a couple of days before and we were just settling back into life as just the four of us and looking towards Noah's first day of school.  All that relaxation and 'getting back into routine' kind of went out the window.

After we had our offer accepted on the house, we went about getting our house ready for sale all in a couple of days.  Our house had never looked so good!  Pics below.
